Under normal temperatures, SIMX glass is a non-conductivr material - it is insulant.

 

• specific resistance in the environment resistant against humidity (20 °C) above 10 in power 13 – 10 in power 15 Ω.cm
• permitivity ε (20 °C, 1 MHz) = 4,6
• loss angle tg δ (20 °C, 1 MHz) = 4,9 . 10 in power -3
• Electrical losses rapidly increase with increasing temperature and change with the frequency.
